The Four Horseshoes have great pleasure in offering you our wine list. Whether you would like a lovely white wine to accompany your fish dish or a seductive red wine to have with your steak we will be very happy to 'pop' a cork for you. At the bars we also serve a large range of Ales, Lagers, Spirits and Mixers

White Wines

1. Pic St. Pierre Grenache Blanc 2006 - Vin de Pays de Gard, France - Extremely ripe and fruity, clean and refreshing with a dry finish.

2. St. Pierre Blanc Medium Dry 2006 - Vin de Pays de Comte, Tolosan, France - Packed with vibrant fruit flavours, with a subtle hint of sweetness on the finish.

3. Thorne Hill Semillon/Chardonnay 2006 - Australia - Ripe exotic fruit flavours, easy drinking but well balanced with a fresh and crisp finish.

4. Pinot Grigio Vignetti Delle Dolomiti 2007 - Italy - Crisp aromatic fruit, fresh and lively with zingy vibrant acidity and a clean and dry finish.

5. Buitenverwachting Sauvignon Blanc 2006 - South Africa - Crisp, fresh, pungent Sauvignon fruit skillfully blended with a crisp and zesty acidity.

6. Petit Chablis Brocard 2006 - France - Petit Chablis is a wine of thirst, a wine of pleasure. Nice fruit aromas, a lot of freshness and good acidity.

Rose Wines

7. Mannara Pinot Grigio Rose 2007 - Italy - Attractive pink with mouthmatering red berry aromas, beautifully rounded and refreshing fruit flavours with a clean, crisp finish.

8. Gran Fuedo Rosado Chivite 2006 - Spain - Rose coloured in the glass, with juicy summer berry flavours and crisp, very refreshing style in the mouth.

Red Wines

9. Merlot Terres d'Azur 2007 - France - Deep red colour with a mixture of bilberry and blackberry fragrances with hints of cocoa bean and spices. Soft tannins and fruit flavours on the finish.

10. Finca La Colonia Malbed 2007 - Argentina - Argentina's signature grape variety, this wine shows the typical dark berry fruit with liquorice overtones and a pepperary spice.

11. Esencia Valdemar Tinto Rioja 2007 - Spain - Violet in colour with seductive aromas of dark, ripe berries. A smooth, powerful mouthful with a lengthy finish.

12. Thorne Hill Cabernet / Shiraz 2006 - Australia - A ripe berry fruit, soft and well rounded with a long flavoursome finish. Super value for money.

13. Cote du Ventoux Rhone 2006 - Delas Freres - France - Succulent ripe berry fruit with spicy complexity from the Grenache grape variety.

14. Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 - Jim Barry - Australia - This wine shows inky, deep red colour, with a nose of black cherry, briary fruit and dark chocolate. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with ripe, blackcurrant and cassis fruit.

Champagne

15. Testulat Carte D'or NV - A well balanced rich and fruity style with complex favours of vanilla, lime and peaches.

16. Champagne Deuty Brut Classic - Delicate and floral on the nose, the champagne exudes ripe fruit flavours and full-bodied elegance.

17. Duc De Breux Blanc de Blanc - A really good sparkling French wine, made only from Chardonnay grapes.
